Grassland hike

Storm is coming!

We've got a nearby patch of grassland that we like to visit from time to time. It's a nice spot to hike and about a 1/2 hour drive from where we live. The grassland is nice to walk in because the space is very open t o explore and you can also scan the landscape for big game. We've seen elephants and giraffes there though it's important to keep a safe distance from the former.

The rainy season is a great time to hike with huge grasses and a lush landscape. We spent the afternoon walking through the grasses and saw a few giraffe in the distance. Unfortunately we also saw some pretty heavy clouds forming so we rushed back to our car before the storm hit.
