Street music in Iringa

What I thought would be a quick Sunday morning run to the market on a quiet day in town turned out to be one of the nicest treats I've had since coming to Iringa. On a random corner of the town I met a group of guys from Mbeya with homemade instruments. They were rocking out on the corner with a small crowd gathered. After they were done playing I asked them a few questions and they explained that they were traveling to Dar es Salaam via Iringa and Morogoro. They planned to play throughout the towns and in the streets.

I loved their spirit and instruments and I got one of the guys numbers with hopes of buying the cool bass drum/guitar combo if they ever return to Mbeya.
